City & Surrounds Sidecar Scenic Tour (2 Hour)
Enjoy a brief introduction to Cape Town city and the Atlantic Seaboard.
Trip includes a driving tour through the inner city (Castle, City Hall, Company Gardens, Bo Kaap district) and then a visit to Signal Hill via Kloofnek Road.
Enjoy a brief stop at Signal Hill (toilets) & take in the magnificent views of the city, Table Bay and Robben Island. Re-board your sidecar and continue down Camps Bay Drive towards the coast passing through the beautiful seaside suburb of Camps Bay.
After a brief stop at Maidens Cove (toilets), continue along the Atlantic Seaboard through the suburbs of Clifton, Bantry Bay & Sea Point.
Trip ends at the V&A Waterfront, Sidecar depot or any city address.
Meet & Greet your driver at your pick-up address. Complete indemnities & suit up in our cool riding gear. Depart for a 30 minute driving tour of the inner city attractions.
After the city tour, head up Kloofnek Road to Signal Hill. 20 minute drive.
Arrive at Signal Hill. Stop for 10 minutes to enjoy the views.
Continue down Camps Bay Drive towards Maidens Cove via Camps Bay. Journey time 15 minutes. Brief stop at Maidens Cove. Enjoy the magnificent scenery of the 12 Apostles Mountain range and the stunning Camps Bay beachfront. 10 mins.
Continue along Atlantic seaboard towards the city. 30 mins.
Total duration of trip: 2hrs
NOTE: This itinerary can be tailor-made subject to time available & distance travelled.
Rates are on a 'per person' basis. Minimum booking of 2 passengers per sidecar. Option of booking a standard sidecar (seating for 2 pax, 1 pax on seat behind driver plus 1 pax in sidecar) or a tandem sidecar (seating for up to 3 pax, 1 pax on seat behind driver plus 1 or 2 pax in sidecar) )

What to wear
Comfortable clothes & closed footwear. We will supply leather jackets, bandanas, helmets & goggles.
Any one of the suggested following pickup points are suitable:
* Sidecar Depot. 1 Dickens Road, Salt River, Cape Town.
* In front of Ferryman's Pub, V&A Waterfront
* Any City Bowl or V&A Waterfront address.
PLEASE NOTE: If pick-up or drop-off is outside the Cape Town City/V&A Waterfront area, drive-time of your trip may be reduced.

Cancellation Policy: If a confirmed reservation is cancelled, cancellation fees will be levied as follows: (Please also refer to RAIN POLICY)
a. More than 7 days prior to commencement of tour NIL
b. Between 7 days and 3 days prior to commencement of tour 50%
c. Less than 72 hours prior to commencement of tour 100%
If a passenger(s) fails to join the tour/transfer, or joins it after departure, or leaves it prior to completion, no refund, pro-rata’d or otherwise, will be given. Whilst CSA will make every endeavour to follow the agreed itinerary on the day, it is understood that re-routing may become necessary due to circumstances beyond our control (eg: road closures, traffic congestion, unsafe conditions, etc)
Delayed Pick-up policy: CSA (Cape Sidecar Adventures) allows a 30-minute leeway with agreed pick-up times throughout the tour. Should the guest exceed this leeway, CSA can choose to either withdraw the sidecars & terminate the tour with no refund, or choose to wait, with an additional charge R300/sidecar per extra 30 minutes being levied.
Payment Policy: A minimum payment of 50% of full value of the invoice is required to secure a booking unless otherwise agreed in writing with CSA. Balance outstanding must be paid in full at least 1 week prior to the outing. Failing this, CSA reserves the right to cancel the booking & withhold deposits already paid.
Under no circumstance will CSA convey any passengers unless an indemnity form has been completed and signed by all passengers prior to departure.
All sidecar passengers are automatically covered by our Passenger Liability Insurance cover for up to R2 million per event.
CSA shall not be liable for any loss or expense arising from the loss of property, cancellation or curtailment of any tour/transfer however caused. If sickness or accident interrupts a tour/transfer, CSA shall not be liable for any cost or expense arising therefrom. CSA shall not be liable for any refund, either partial or total, of passage money paid. If applicable, CSA recommends that clients advise their passengers to purchase appropriate insurance to protect themselves against such eventuality.
a. If there is a possibility of rain on the day of the tour, clients can decide, AT THE LATEST, BY 5PM THE DAY BEFORE THE TOUR, to either:
i. Elect to take the tour/transfer at a later date agreed upon by CSA & the client OR use the credit available towards a future sidecar outing.
ii. Elect to take the planned tour/transfer with wet-weather gear provided by CSA. (If this option is taken, a back-up vehicle at the client’s cost is recommended)
iii. Elect to accept a full refund.
b. After the client has agreed to commence with the tour/transfer, CSA will have no financial obligation towards the client should the weather become rainy.
Tour fee quoted covers fuel for up to 200km’s, insurances, use of biking gear (helmets, leather jackets, goggles, ponchos) + plus 1 complimentary bandana per passenger.
