Chapman's Peak
The trail starts from Chapman's Peak drive and goes steeply up the forestry gravel road and single track. The course dips in and out of wooded ravines with unforgettable views of Hout Bay. Run back to Hout Bay along part of the route of the world's most beautiful running race, the Two Oceans Marathon.
Highlights along the way include Hout Bay, Chapman's Peak contour path, a gravel single track, and
Blackburn ravine with indigenous vegetation.

Cancellation policy

We reserve the right to cancel reservations as the hike up Table Mountain is weather permitting.
Thorough weather checks are done prior to any trip. Should inclement weather prevent us from proceeding with the trip on any particular day, the clients would be informed and an alternative date would be negotiated or the refund of your deposit payments will be made.

Conditions

Cape Mountain Hiking and Running Tours reserves the right to change any route and/or arrangement where these may be necessary. We also reserve the right to accept or refuse any person as a member of a tour at any time, without giving reasons therefore.
A member of our staff, or an outside contractor appointed by us, will lead your activity and their instructions are vital for your safety and enjoyment. They are empowered to stop the activity should their instructions be wilfully ignored or members of your group are acting in a way that might endanger themselves or others. You should ensure all members of your group are aware of these points.
Our prices do not include any form of insurance. You are strongly recommended to arrange your own insurance to cover eventualities such as cancellation, injury, or loss of personal items. Cape Mountain Hiking and Running Tours and their servants and agents shall not be responsible for and shall be exempt from all liability in respect of any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or inconvenience to any person, or his or her luggage or other personal property, wherever the same shall arise from or be occasioned by the negligence of Cape Mountain Hiking and Running Tours, their servants or agents or other persons directly in the employment of the company or otherwise under any circumstances whatsoever.
The person making the booking does so on behalf of all persons in the group. This person, by making the booking, accepts all of the booking terms and conditions, without exception.
Bookings can only be confirmed on receipt of 50% deposit payment.
All our hike run with a minimum of two guests. There will be a surcharge if any hikes goes ahead with only one guest. We will inform you of the surcharge option if there are no other guests booked for the hike prior to departure.
